Compensation can include:

• Wages for teachers are based on experience and education
• Paid holidays, paid time off, vacation, bereavement
• Closed from Christmas Eve to New Years Day (paid)
• Discount on tuition for staff children (after 1 year)
• Training for certification and professional training, including Montessori, is paid for by Young Explorers, subject to approval.

We are seeking motivated teachers to brighten and enrich the young minds at Young Explorers Montessori School. We pride ourselves on our strong academic based program and our teachers are up for the challenge. Candidates must be kind, patient, possess a love of children, have a positive attitude, and professional appearance. Candidates must also be creative individuals who can multi-task in a fast paced environment and are excited to be a part of our close knit team!

Our teachers are responsible for creating age appropriate lesson plans while implementing our Montessori curriculum, daily parent communication, child observations and assessments, and maintaining a clean classroom. Past experience in a child care setting and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Dress code requirements include no exposed tattoos. See Employee Handbook for more info.
