Young Explorers has been proud to offer compassionate and engaging Montessori education to the families of Streetsboro since August 2007. Streetsboro's town and country appeal make it a great place to raise a family and for a child to have unique learning experiences.
We offer on-site parking for drop-off, pick-up, and visits. Our convenient location offers easy access to SR 14/I 480 or the Ohio Turnpike. Many parents from Streetsboro and the surrounding communities love our location as it is on their commute to work.

I am so excited to be a part of the Streetsboro Young Explorers Family! I have been with Young Explorers since August 2017 and have spent the last few years at our Twinsburg school working with all ages. I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. I currently live in Mantua with my husband Dillon, and our son Wesley. I love the home-like atmosphere and our values at Young Explorers. I believe the Montessori method is a wonderful way to promote independence with children and helps them flourish with their unique interests and strengths. I would love to show you our school!

Inside Our Streetsboro Location
A welcoming fireplace greets you as you enter our spacious Streetsboro location.
Our classrooms are just as inviting, and are designed to give children an engaging and age-appropriate Montessori experience. For infants, our nursery features warm lighting and a quiet area for cribs and naptime. The toddler classrooms have child-size furnishings and equipment, and a changing and potty area. Preschoolers enjoy en-suite restrooms, built-in window seats and bookcases, and large spaces to explore.
Our Streetsboro location also features a music room and indoor gym for your child to have even more fun while learning.
All of our healthy and nutritious lunches are prepared in-house in our state-of-the-art kitchen.
We proudly meet all relevant health and safety guidelines and standards. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and Portage County performs health and building inspections twice annually.
Our Exterior Spaces
Our Streetsboro location features two separate, age-appropriate playgrounds - one for infants and toddlers and another for preschool and school age students. Both playgrounds feature custom-built play equipment. Grassy areas outside the playgrounds allow for outdoor games, splash days, and class picnics. Porches attached to each classroom give children free access to the outdoors, rain or shine.
At Young Explorers, we believe that children need outdoor time to have the freedom to run, climb and have wide open spaces. Our outdoor areas are designed so all students get many opportunities throughout the day for outdoor time.

Streetsboro Local Information
Streetsboro is a fun and welcoming place to raise a family. Streetsboro offers many shopping opportunities for families as well as playgrounds, trails, and campgrounds. The local parks and rec department offers many family activities throughout the year, including teams like soccer, and events such as family days. Zip City is the coolest indoor trampoline and zip line park around.
University hospitals and urgent care facilities are nearby. Doctors, dentists, and more are all located right in Streetsboro so you never have to travel far for services. The local school system recently built a new high school and all the other schools were updated to meet the needs of a growing community and provide the latest technology for the students of Streetsboro.
