Who We Are
Inspiring Kids, Building Communities:
Young Explorers' Twinsburg location opened in 2015 to meet the requests of families who were moving to this fast-growing area. Located approximately halfway between Cleveland and Akron, the Twinsburg area needed great Montessori preschool, pre-K, and daycare programs for busy commuting families.
We are conveniently located near I-480 and near Twinsburg Square, and our families love how easily accessible we are. There's on-site parking, and a school bus drops off and picks up at our front door, making it safe for before and after school students. Our school is tucked away from the busy main roads and surrounded by beautiful trees.
In 2017, we expanded the building to add more preschool classrooms and even more space for school age students to run, play, and just relax after a busy day at the local elementary school.

I feel like the luckiest person to have been able to grow from being a teacher to becoming a director at such an incredible school. I have worked with child development for the past 15 years and love embracing the creativity that is involved with shaping little minds. I am a firm believer that the job of a teacher is to love you, teach you and keep you safe. And at Young Explorers Twinsburg that is exactly what is going to happen.

I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science. I previously coached Track and Field at Aurora for 3 years and loved every minute! When I got the opportunity to work with kids again, I jumped at the opportunity. As a family, we love any chance to be outside whether it be biking, hiking or walking our two rescue dogs. My husband and I are having the time of our lives raising our son, Roman.
Inside Our Twinsburg Location
Our Twinsburg location is bright, spacious, and welcoming. Our lobby area features beautiful vaulted ceilings with a chandelier, and exposed wood beams flank each hallway.
All of our classrooms are designed to give your children the best Montessori experience. Our infant room helps younger and older infants to meet their unique developmental needs, and we have a storage area for parents to leave car seats and extra supplies. Our toddler classroom features equipment that's perfectly toddler-sized, and there is a changing and potty area in the classroom. For our preschoolers, large classrooms let children explore at their own pace.
As part of their Montessori experience, our children have music class and other extracurriculars such as art, drama, dance, and piano lessons. These activities allow children to move throughout the school as they would in an elementary environment.
Our Twinsburg location features an indoor gym for those cold Ohio winters, featuring a custom indoor twisty slide and basketball hoop.
We have a state-of-the art kitchen with a large area for meal preparation.
Young Explorers' Twinsburg location meets relevant health guidelines as well from Ohio Department of Health.
Our Exterior Spaces
Our shaded playground has a dedicated toddler side and a side especially for preschool and school-age students. Both sides feature custom-built play structures, Pour N Play soft and clean playground flooring, a basketball hoop, a trike track, and a play lemonade stand. We also have a grassy area and place to plant a small garden.
Both areas feature climbing structures that were-custom made for these age groups.
At Young Explorers, we believe that children need freedom to explore and play outside. We make this a priority for all of our children.
Safety & Security
At Young Explorers, we take the safety and security of your child very seriously. All outside doors are locked and parents are given a unique code for access to the school. Our handy parent app checks children in and out of their classroom and sends daily reports right to your phone.

Twinsburg has many dance studios, gymnastics, martial arts, sports, painting, music lessons and other activities for your children. We have many parks and recreation centers, and Twinsburg Library is nationally ranked.
There are many Summit County Metro Parks throughout Twinsburg, along with Liberty Nature Center that features beautiful hiking trails and a lovely educational center for families to learn about nature. And for some summertime fun, Twinsburg Water Park is right down the road!
